The quirky and vibrant New Orleans offers an unparalleled festive atmosphere, which will no doubt meet the above criteria. If the sole purpose of your trip to New Orleans is to have fun, we recommend at least 2 or 3 nights. Trust us when we tell you that you'll be able to enjoy more than enough nightlife during that time. Bourbon Street attacks you with force.
I only visited it during the day, but it would be fantastic to visit this place at night to enjoy an epic view of the bright lights of Bourbon Street. The French Quarter is bustling; Creole cuisine is top notch; and the sights, sounds and ambience make this Louisiana city a top tourist destination for everyone, from history lovers to night owls who love to party. So stroll through the outdoor night market, check out the items in the Frenchman Art & bookstore, have dinner, drink some beers, listen to music and enjoy everything that this wonderful corner of the world has to offer. If you want to experience the ambience of the French Quarter in your own way, this area is an excellent option with a quiet retreat to which to return at night.
Even if you only have 48 hours in NOLA, you still have time to get an idea of its unique history, culture, art and architecture, and its exciting nightlife, which make it a world-class city full of a southern atmosphere and atmosphere all its own.
